Who is processing your data?

Tewkesbury Art Studio is collecting and processing your data. We collect personal data from you when you book tickets or enrol on one of our classes or workshops. We also hold basic data if you have requested to join our mailing list to receive newsletters. This information is protected by UK data protection law.

What data is involved?

We ask you to provide us with details such as name, postcode, phone number and email address along with a choice of information you would like us to contact you about. Some fields are optional but certain fields are mandatory.

What is the purpose of processing the data?

The data we collect from you is important to understand our customer requirements.  e.g. what you are interested in and want to hear more from us about. It helps us to understand what our customers like attending and allows us to send you information about our events. It also allows us to book you onto workshops and to send you invoices for classes you are booked onto.  We will never share your personal information with third parties or send you Tewkesbury Art Studio communication without your prior consent — you must give us your consent to do so by ticking the relevant check box when you subscribe to our mailing.

What are the outcomes of data processing?

You receive only information that you have expressly agreed to receive when subscribing to our mailing list.

How do we store, use, share and disclose your personal information?

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
