Theres now only a month to go until the Tewkesbury Art Studio exhibition at the Roses Theatre and alongside my own paintings I'm hoping to showcase some of the gorgeous work that my students have created. There is limited space so sadly I can't include everyone of the hundreds of people that have graced my workshops over the last 2 years and will have to be selective. Saying that if you have a painting you are proud of , or one you've completed as a result of attending a workshop please email me a photo by 19th April for a chance to have it exhibited.
The show will be on for a month throughout the whole of May and you can choose whether to put your painting up for sale or not. More details to follow.
Please dont be shy, it really is a great experience
On 25th April its the private view for Fresh Art Fair, which is the biggest art fair outside of London and just happens to be down the road in Cheltenham. Arabella from Little Buckland gallery will be taking five of my paintings for her stand and, I've got to say, I'm over the moon as I love her gallery and really rate her as a curator. Fresh Art is on until 28th April and is only £6.00 per ticket. There are 50 galleries showing over 500 artists so it will be absoloute heaven for art lovers with plenty of inspiration for artists too
Cheltenham Open Studios
From June 8th - 16th I'll be opening the studio to the public as part of Cheltenham Open studios. I'm busy making new work to show and may possibly have a couple of special guest pieces. Although not in Cheltenham we still fit into the radius and Tewkesbury is a beautiful town to visit. There are a few other Tewkesbury artists throwing open their doors so you could make a day of it. Have a spot of lunch in town, a stroll by the river and and a tour of the artists studios
Thats all for now, I'd better get on with some painting.
